最近天災がさらに多くなった気がする。
あの最古の大森林であるセラワクも水不足というではないか！

THE Sarawak River is a lifeblood of Kuching city and its surrounding areas, serving not only as a useful mode of transportation but also as a life-sustaining source of water for the residents, the supply of water from the Sarawak River was sufficient for the population of Kuching and its surrounding areas some 30 to 100 years ago.

But its resources are gradually depleting and without proper management, there may come a day when scarcity of water will pose a problem for the state capital.

To prevent this, plans to ensure water security have been drawn out and a right step in this direction is the construction of the Bengoh Dam scheduled to become operational by 2010, barring any delay.

単に降水量が少ないという理由だけではないとおもうんだけど・・・
なんか巨大な災害の前ぶれみたいな・・・


マレーシアは１年中と常夏で季節がなくて、作物の栽培で種まきとか時期があまり重要視
されていなかった。
でも最近では、マニュアルにも「マレーシアの季節」というものに沿った栽培方法があるのだそうだ。



マレーシアでのＨＩＮＩはもう昨日の時点で３２名の死亡者が出ていて、今日も新たに６人。

職場でもマスクをしている人がちらほらとみられるようになってきた。
感染してからハイリスクの人というのは、呼吸器官が弱い人であったり、メタボや糖尿の人だったりするみたいだけど、そういった現代病がマレーシアに多いのも一理あるのかな。
子供の学校では、１人感染者が出たけど、まだ休校にはなっていない。
でも以前よりもまして厳しく対応しているみたいで、少しでも風邪の症状があったら、先生が即、家に送ってくれるといっていた。
クラスの出席率は半分くらい。
「人ごみ」はやっぱり気をつけて、「手洗い、うがい」はまめにしないといかんなあ。
